Levski Sofia, the prominent Bulgarian football club, has successfully secured the services of 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Carlos Ohene in the current transfer window.

Carlos Ohene, who hails from Ghana, has inked an 18-month contract with Levski Sofia, making a move from fellow Bulgarian team Hebar Pazardzhik. This strategic signing comes just in time for the league’s resumption in February, and Ohene is expected to play a crucial role in helping the club achieve a respectable position by the end of the campaign.

Currently, Ohene is actively engaging with his new teammates in Belek, partaking in preparations for the league’s restart next month. His commitment is evident as he observed a friendly match between Levski Sofia and Bosnian side FC Tuzla City.

Notably, Ohene brings a wealth of experience to Levski Sofia, having played for various clubs in Eastern Europe. His journey includes stints with Aiki Larnaca and AEL Limassol in Cyprus, showcasing his versatility as a defensive midfielder. Additionally, Ohene has contributed his skills to Bulgarian teams such as Beroe, CSKA 1948, and Tsarsko Selo.

This transfer is particularly noteworthy as Carlos Ohene becomes the second player in Levski Sofia’s extensive 110-year history to make a move from Hebar. Embracing his new chapter with Levski Sofia, Ohene will proudly don the number 8 jersey, aiming to leave his mark on the club’s legacy.

His arrival adds depth and experience to the team, and fans are eager to see how his contributions will shape the course of Levski Sofia’s upcoming matches. As the football community awaits the league’s return, Carlos Ohene’s journey with Levski Sofia is poised to unfold as a pivotal chapter in both his career and the club’s history.
