The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has designated Burkina Faso’s referee Vincent Kabore to oversee the Champions League preliminary round encounter between Medeama and Nigerian side Remo Stars in August.
Medeama, also known as the Yellow and Mauves, will host Remo Stars for the first leg, with the return fixture set to take place in Ogun States later this month.
The initial match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Vincent Kabore, an experienced referee, will be accompanied by his compatriots Daouda Traore (Assistant 1) and Levy Sawadogo (Assistant 2), while Hamidu Diero will officiate as the fourth official.
Sierra Leone’s Kasho J Holland-Cole will assume the role of Match Commissioner, and Dr. Christian Baah will serve as the Medical Officer for the match.
