The Black Queens have a revised fixture schedule for the group stage of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) following adjustments by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Kim Lars Björkegren’s side will begin their Group C campaign against Cape Verde on Wednesday, July 29, at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca. Kick-off is scheduled for 17:00 GMT.

Ghana will then face Cameroon on Sunday, August 2, also at the Moulay Rachid Stadium, with kick-off at 17:00 GMT.

The Black Queens wrap up the group stage against Mali on Thursday, August 6. The final Group C fixture is scheduled for 20:00 GMT at the same venue.

The revised schedule follows CAF’s adjustments to the tournament programme, which also saw the Black Queens’ team base moved from Fez to Casablanca ahead of the competition.

Ghana will be aiming for a strong start as the team seeks to secure qualification to the FIFA Women’s World Cup and challenge for continental honours in Morocco.

Group C Fixtures – Black Queens

  • July 29: Ghana vs Cape Verde – 17:00 GMT, Moulay Rachid Stadium, Casablanca
  • August 2: Ghana vs Cameroon – 17:00 GMT, Moulay Rachid Stadium, Casablanca
  • August 6: Ghana vs Mali – 20:00 GMT, Moulay Rachid Stadium, Casablanca
