AshantiGold’s red-hot striker Shafiu Mumuni is confident the Miners will pick good result in Morocco against R.S Berkane to keep alive their dream of sealing qualification to the group stage of the 2019/2020 Caf Confederation Cup.
The Obuasi-based club clinched a narrow 3-2 victory against RS Berkane in the first leg clash at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday.
The Black Stars ‘B’striker scored one of the goals in his team’s 3-2 home win.
Defender Eric Donkor and Amos Addai scored the other two goals for AshantiGold SC.
“I am confident we can qualify,we will go back to training and rectify our mistakes. One thing that caused us conceding two goals was a lack of concentration” He told Oyerepa FM after the game.
Shafiu Mumuni urged the fans not to lose hope, as he and his colleagues will work hard to redeem their image in the return leg.
“Let’s not lose hope ,we can qualify” Shafiu Mumuni added.
AshantiGold travels to Morocco to play RS Berkane in two weeks time.
