Following their convincing 3-0 aggregate victory against Simba, Al Ahly secured their spot in the semi-finals. Their next challenge awaits against TP Mazembe, who clinched their place with a dramatic stoppage-time winner against Petro Atletico de Luanda.
In anticipation of the highly-anticipated encounter, Modeste expressed unwavering belief in Al Ahly’s capabilities and readiness to take on Mazembe.
“We have a strong desire to win and the players know the importance of the game,” Modeste said via Al Ahly’s social media channels.
“Al Ahly fear no one but of course, we know the game will be difficult, but I am certain that we are ready for it physically and mentally.
