Medeama captain, Baba Abdulai Musah, is optimistic about a favorable outcome as his team faces Young Africans in the CAF Champions League.
The clash, part of the group stage’s fourth matchday, will see the Tanzanian giants host the Yellow and Mauve on Wednesday.
Reflecting on their earlier encounter, a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium, Musah expressed the team’s preparedness and determination.
With a focus on securing a positive result away from home, he refrained from revealing specific strategies but emphasized the collective effort to achieve success.
“We came here well prepared and like my coach said, very determined. We’re here to play a good game and get good result back home. The strategy or the tactics we’re going to use; I can’t disclose that here! But at the end of the day, we have to get a good result back home” he said.
Currently holding four points after three games, Medeama is level with Algeria’s CR Belouizdad, while Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly leads the group with five points.
Young Africans, positioned at the bottom, have garnered two points.
