Esperance v Asec Mimosas
Venue: Rades Stadium
Time: 9 pm, Saturday

Asec Mimosas make a long trip from the West to the North to face Esperance in Tunisia. It is a very big game for the Ivorians as they seek to continue their fine performance in this year’s CAF Champions League. The Ivorians had a great group stage after topping a group containing Simba SC, Wydad and Jwaneng Galaxy. Asec Abidjan has a huge problem with their away performance being so poor. They have lost 4 and drawn one in their last 5 games. Facing the in-form Esperance in this poor form makes the tie a difficult one for the Ivorians. Asec has won just once in their last 6 games in all competitions.

Esperance are enjoying life at the moment as they have won their last 5 games in all competitions. Esperance’s last defeat in their last 17 games came against Al Hilal in the 3-1 defeat in Tanzania in the group stage.

The Tunisians are playing at the top level now and hence Asec Mimosas must be fully prepared.
