Ghana’s best referee, Daniel Laryea has been chosen by CAf to be the main referee in Simba’s must-win CAF Champions League game against Jwaneng Galaxy in Tanzania.
Daniel Nii Laryea, 36, is becoming a top referee after gaining the trust of CAF and FIFA recently.
In Dar es Salaam, Daniel Laryea will be in charge of SIMBA SC and Jwaneng Galaxy. The Tanzanians must beat Jwaneng Galaxy to progress to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League as Asec Mimosas has already won the group.
The young Ghanaian referee is expected to ensure a very successful match at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam when Simba squares off against Jwaneng Galaxy.
Wydad Athletic will host already qualified Asec and must beat them and hope that Simba slips at home against Jwaneng Galaxy to stand any chance of progressing.
