The second North African derby of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League group stage will take place on Friday afternoon in Egypt.

Al Ahly will welcome Belouizdad of Algeria to Cairo for the MD3 of the CAF Champions League. The Red Devils are on top of Group D after winning one and drawing one in their opening two games.

The defending champions will get much closer to the knockout phase with a win against the Algerians.

CR Belouizdad after a 3-0 win over Young Africans lost 2-1 in Kumasi against Medeama SC. The Chababists have to double their effort if they want to secure even a point.

Both teams do not have many injury concerns as Marcel Koller and Marcos Paqueta will have strong teams to select
