The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Congolese referee Messie Jessie Oved Nkounkou Mvoutou to officiate the upcoming match between Dreams FC and Rivers United in Round 2 of the group stages of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the match officials, with the main referee, Messie Jessie Oved Nkounkou Mvoutou, hailing from Congo. He will be assisted by fellow countrymen Styven Danek Styven Moutsassi Moyo (Assistant I), Malondi Chany Yanes (Assistant II), and Pierre Jean Nguiene (Fourth Referee).
Ivan Gartor Brown from Liberia will serve as the Match Commissioner, and other roles will be fulfilled by Crespin Aguidissou (Referee Assessor) from Benin, Ebou Faye (General Coordinator) from The Gambia, and Atte Claude Elloh (Security Officer) from Côte D’Ivoire.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 3, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with Dreams FC seeking a victory after a 2-0 loss to Club Africain in Round 1.
