Ivorian referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei R has been appointed to officiate Asante Kotoko’s upcoming continental fixture, as the Porcupine Warriors make their much-anticipated return to African club competition.
Vlei R will be supported on the lines by compatriots Nouho Ouattara (Assistant Referee I) and Lancine Kone (Assistant Referee II), while Ibrahim Kalilou Traore, also from Ivory Coast, takes charge as the fourth official.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has further confirmed that renowned Gambian referee Bakary K. Jammeh will serve as Match Commissioner, with Sanusie Rashid of Sierra Leone appointed as Referee Assessor.
