Ghana’s midfield engine Abdul Aziz Issah was named Man of the Match after a brilliant display in the 1-0 win over the Central African Republic at the CAF U-20 Championship in Egypt.
Issah was everywhere on the pitch—breaking up attacks, driving the team forward, and dictating the tempo of the game.
His composure and vision in midfield played a crucial role in Ghana’s dominance, especially in the first half where both teams had chances but Ghana stayed slightly on top.
His tireless performance helped the Black Satellites stay in control and push for a late winner, which eventually came through Patrick Arthur.
With this win, Ghana tops the group and marches into the quarter-finals—and Issah’s name will be one to watch going forward.
