Ghana will host Mozambique in the second leg of the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers on October 30 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The Black Meteors will play their home game in Kumasi for their qualifiers for the tournament that will be hosted in Morocco.
The Mozambiquans eliminated Mauritius with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline in the first round – will be hosting Ghana at the first leg at Estádio do Zimpeto in Zimpeto – Maputo on Sunday, October 23.
The return leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium is on Sunday, October 30.
Kickoff for the curcial game is scheduled at 15:00 GMT.
Meteors began preparations on September 7 in Prampram after coach Tanko invited 32 players to camp.
Ghana will play DR Congo or Algeria in the third and final qualifying round of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games’ qualifying tournament in March 2023.
Seven (7) nations will secure tickets to join hosts Morocco for the 4th edition of the U-23 Afcon in June 2023 with four making it to the Olympic games.
