The Baba Yara Stadium will be Kotoko’s home venue as they host Rail du Kadiogo in the CAF Champions League qualifiers.
In Kotoko’s previous qualification campaign, the Accra Sports stadium was used as that of Kumasi was not in good enough shape for the encounter.
However, renovation work has been done and Baba Yara is deemed ready for a match of that magnitude.
The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 18th September 2022 as the Porcupine Warriors seek qualification to the main competition.
Ivorian referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Phillipe Vlei has been named as the referee for the game. He will be assisted by Koabenan Prosper Adiouman and Kalidou Bamba with Kouassi Frederic Francois Biro.
Kotoko had their pre-season in Sudan where they lost to Al Hilal and Simba SC.
