Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs has been handed a five-match home ban, fined GHS 15,000, and formally warned by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee following incidents during their Access Bank Division One League game against Nsuopun Fidelity FC.
The disciplinary action comes after the club was found guilty of failing to ensure the safety of match officials, allowing supporters into restricted areas where they assaulted the officials.
The home match ban takes immediate effect, and the club is required to pay the GHS 15,000 fine within fourteen days of receiving the notification of the decision.
The Disciplinary Committee also warned that any future misconduct by Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs will attract more severe sanctions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining safety and discipline during league matches.
