Dreams FC will host their CAF Confederation Cup group stage matches at the Cape Coast Stadium when the competition commences next month.
The newcomers played their preliminary round home games at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghanaian capital. Dreams secured their place in the group stage for the first time in their history by defeating Guinean side Milo FC de Kankan and Sierra Leone’s FC Kallon.
The change of venue to the Cape Coast Stadium has been confirmed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
During the draw ceremony, Dreams FC was placed in Group C alongside Nigerian side Rivers United, Club Africain, and fellow debutants Academica do Lobito.
Dreams FC will commence their campaign with an away fixture in Tunisia against Club Africain before returning home to face Rivers United. Their final two home matches will be against Academica do Lobito and a reverse fixture against the Tunisian club.
In their maiden participation in the Confederation Cup, Dreams FC aims to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
The Confederation Cup group stage matches are scheduled to start on Sunday, November 27, 2023, and conclude on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
