Ghanaian football legend, Ibrahim Sunday, has encouraged Asante Kotoko to fully capitalize on the wealth of technical knowledge possessed by their own legend, James Kwasi Appiah.
Kwesi Appiah is currently a part of Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee, tasked with guiding the club for the next three years.
Sunday, who both played for and coached the record-holding Ghana Premier League champions to victory in the African Champions Cup (CAF Champions League) in 1983, firmly believes that Kwesi Appiah can make a significant contribution to the Porcupine Warriors.
“It’s a very good news because he has the experience as a technical man,” Sunday expressed his sentiments.
“Just that they have to listen to him and if they do I think the way will be clear and successful for them.” Ibrahim Sunday told Radio Gold Sports.
Notably, Kwesi Appiah himself has a history with the club, having also played for Asante Kotoko during his illustrious career.
