Celtic legend Frank McAvennie has heaped praises on youngster Jeremie Frimpong.
McAvennie who made name with the Hops from 1897 to 1989 as well as 1992 to 1994 insists the 20oyear-old right-back is in a class of his own and by far the best youngster at Celtic.
“Frimpong has come in but he was a big player at Manchester City and the boys said that he was the best kid that they’ve ever seen in training. So enthusiastic as well.
”My god that boy can run, up and down that wing and does not seem to tire.” McAvennie told the Football Insider.
“But in terms of new players, I can’t see many opportunities.” He added.
Frimpong made a total of fourteen Scottish Premier League appearance for Celtic this season scoring two goals and providing three assists.
