Experienced Ghanaian defender Denis Odoi is pleased following Club Brugge’s qualification ti the round of sixteen of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League.
Odoi was a pillar at the back on Tuesday night as his side went to Wanda Metropolitano to draw goalless with Atletico Madrid and book their place in the next stage of the competition.
“We had a goal today. Everyone gave their all. It wasn’t an easy match, they were more aggressive than at home, but we did well collectively, we had Simon in goal, who was enormous.” Odoi emphasized.
Club Brugge are on top of Group B with ten points from from four games.
