Former Ghana international, Charles Taylor has group the current Black Stars players into two different categories.

Charles Taylor said there are players who gives top level performance for both club and country but there are other top players who only excel when wearing their club team jerseys.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Hearts of Oak forward named Thomas Partey and Nicholas Opoku as players who only performs for their club team’s but can’t replicate the performance for their national teams.

“What I’ve realised is that we have club players, we don’t have national team players. We have players who perform really well at their clubs but when it comes to the national teams, they don’t perform. That is what we are seeing. Players Nicholas Opoku and the likes, Partey, and others. When they play for their clubs, you see how they perform,” he told Angel TV.

He whoever named Andre Ayew, Mohammed Kudus and Jordan Ayew as the players who give top performances for both their club and national teams.

“Players like Mohammed Kudus are those who show they have the mentality to play for the national team. Dede and Jordan, when they come to look at them, they play very well.”
