The upcoming 3rd edition of the Super Cup, which will be held in Kumasi, will feature eight teams from the recently concluded Division One League.
Representing Zone 1B, Bofoakwa Tano, Young Apostles, and Eleven Wonders will be competing. Meanwhile, from Zone Two, the participating clubs are Nations FC, former champions Skyy FC, and Nzema Kotoko. Koforidua Semper FI and Hearts of Lions will be the representatives from Zone Three.
The competition, which spans over two weeks, will reach its climax on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.
In the inaugural edition, Skyy FC, based in Daboase, emerged as champions after defeating Tema Youth SC at the Madina Astro Turf. The second edition saw Liberty Professionals claim victory over Nsoatreman FC in Kyebi, Eastern Region.
This year’s edition of the Super Cup is set to take place in August 2023.
