The artifacts from Saturday’s Premier League match between Chelsea and Everton, both teams Christian Atsu played for, are now available for purchase, including the players’ jerseys.
The proceeds from the auction will go to Arms Around the Child, a nonprofit organization where Christian served as an ambassador, and will be used to complete the school project he started in his native Ghana.
Christian Atsu, who played for Chelsea from 2013 to 2017, tragically lost his life last month in the destructive earthquake that hit Turkey, where he had relocated to continue his career. His funeral will be held this weekend.
The auction features items from club legends as well as autographed jerseys from every member of the team and will be open until 2 p.m. on April 8th.
