English giants Chelsea could swoop for Bayer Leverkrusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong in the January 2023 transfer window.
According to close sources to the player, Chelsea have already approached Leverkrusen for the services of Frimpong in January as they seek a player to fill the void of Cesar Azplicueta who will leave in June.
Frimpong has been in good form in the Bundesliga since 2021 scoring seven goals and providing twelve assists in 61 games.
Manchester United are also said to be having a firm interest to sign him in the impending winter transfer window.
He has three more years left on his contract and could be sold for 50 Million Euros.
