Chesterfield United manager Paul Cook says Ghanaian striker Akwasi Asante and Armando Dobra are nearing full fitness.
The duo could feature in midweek when Chesterfield face Southend United in the English national league
“Both Asante and Dobra are touch and go really,” he said. “They’re not a million miles away but we’ll have to see how they are tomorrow.
“They will be assessed to see how they are ahead of the game. We certainly won’t be rushing them back, that’s for sure.”
Asante was Chesterfield’s best player last season as he also scored against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the league cup..
