For today’s reverse fixture against Angola, Chris Hughton, the head coach of the Ghana national team, has been compelled to modify his starting lineup from their last game.
The team achieved a narrow 1-0 victory over Angola in their Group E encounter, which was also Hughton’s debut match as coach, last Thursday, in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
However, due to an injury, Hughton had to alter the defensive configuration of his team. Kingsley Schindler has taken over from Dennis Odoi, who started the last match, as the right-back, while Joseph Aidoo has been drafted in to replace the injured Alexander Djiku.
Meanwhile, Edmund is now accompanied by Abdul Salis Samed in the midfield, while the attack has remained the same, with Thomas Partey moving to the bench. Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Kamaldeen Sulemana are playing behind Antoine Semenyo, the striker.
Here is the Black Stars’ starting eleven that will play against Angola this evening.
