Mustafa Ozat, the Press relations spokesperson for Hatayspor has revealed that Christian Atsu has been found alive but is injured.
The 31-year-old was trapped under a rubble following a huge earthquake in Turkey on Monday and a search was placed for him for many hours without success.
But on the early hours of Tuesday morning, it has been confirmed that he is alive.
“Christian Atsu has been removed injured. Unfortunately our sports director Taner Savut is still under the wreckage. We are coming towards the end of the most dangerous hours,” he told Radyo Gol.

Atsu scored in his side’s last game against Kasimpasa on Sunday.
