Ghana winger Christopher Bonsu Baah will now play under new manager Brendan Rodgers at Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah.

Rodgers was officially appointed the team’s head coach on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, signing a contract that extends until June 2028.

The appointment is seen as a landmark moment for the club, which aims to become a leading team in Asia.

Bonsu Baah joined Al Qadsiah on a four-year contract in the summer for a reported fee in excess of €15 million from Belgian side KRC Genk.

Since his arrival, he has made a total of 12 appearances across all competitions (Saudi Pro League, King’s Cup, and Saudi Super Cup).

In those matches, the young forward has contributed two goals and two assists.

His first official game was in the Super Cup semifinal where he registered an assist but also received a red card. He scored his debut league goal in a 2-2 draw against Al Hilal in September.

Bonsu Baah will be expected to play a key role under the new coaching regime, which includes former Celtic coaches John Kennedy and Jack Lyons.
