Asekem FC is in 9th position after match day 11 in the highly competitive Ghana Division One Zone 2 league. His appointment was finalised a few days ago, and while the club has yet to make an official unveiling, sources within the management and coach’s camp have confirmed the deal.

Coach Banabas Awuni is expected to steer the affairs of Asekem’s next away game against Skyy FC.
Before his new appointment, Coach Banabas Awuni worked with Kumasi-based King Faisal Football Club for two seasons where he was in charge of 40 games with 11 wins, 16 draws and 10 losses.
