The former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak coach wants Black Stars interim manager Otto Addo to only invite players who are doing well in Europe in Europe and back home for next month’s FIFA World Cup play-off against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Ghana, four-time African Champions, will first host the Super Eagles on March 25 at the Cape Coast Stadium in the final phase of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The team will fly to Abuja four days later for the reverse leg.

Ahead of the crucial two-legged tie, coach J.E Sarpong has advised that players that would be invited should be of the best quality.
“We need to invite players playing well but not those playing in Dubai and co. Let’s get our best players available for the game against Nigeria. Such games are for top players who are playing so well in Europe,” Coach J.E Sarpong told Oyerepa Sports.
The first leg of the clash between Ghana and Nigeria will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 25.
The reverse fixture will then be staged in Abuja on March 29.
