Accra Hearts of Oak gaffer Samuel Boadu is in jubilant mood after guiding the for er CAF Champions League winners to clinch the Ghana Premier League for the first time in twelve years.
Boadu switch led camp from Medeama to Hearts of Oak in the middle of the season despite the Mauves and Yellow side at the time, having a better chance of winning the Ghana Premier League than Hearts of Oak.
Nonetheless, Boadu took a bold decision to join Hearts of Oak knowing the difficult nature of the job he was going for.
The courageous manager’s strange decision has been rewarded with the Phobians winning their first title in 12 years.
The league title triumph is also Boadu’s first in his managerial career which started not long ago. Medeama gave him the rare opportunity in 2017 as he was appointed head coach.
