Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids have agreed to a deal to acquire Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Sadiq from AZ Alkmaar, according to The Athletic.
Sadiq will undergo a medical to formalize the move, sources say. The transfer window in MLS closes on Wednesday night.
The 26-year-old winger has spent the last few seasons with AZ, scoring 18 goals in 85 appearances. He has also featured for FC Nordsjaelland and BK Hacken in his career.
The Rapids have been extremely busy ahead of the transfer window closing.
The club has sent Rafa Navarro to St. Louis City for a deal worth around $12 million, a new record for a move between MLS clubs, and are finalizing the club-record signing of Morgan Whittaker from Middlesbrough, as quoted by The Athletic.
Meanwhile, Colorado confirmed the signing of Israel international Sayed Abu-Farkhi on Tuesday morning as well.
