Samuel Anim Addo, an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association- GFA, says the development agenda for football growth in the country is really on course.
His comment, comes in the back of the Black Starlets’ winning of the UEFA U16 Development Tournament held in Serbia. The Ghana male U17 team headed by Karim Zito and Laryea Kingston, won all three games at the tourney, beating host country Serbia, Spain and Switzerland to win the tournament.
On Tuesday April 18, 2023, the Black Starlets, emerged as champions of the UEFA under-16 youth development tournament by defeating Switzerland 3-2.
Ramzy Asumadu scored two goals, and Debrah Bossman’s late strike secured Ghana’s victory in a thrilling five-goal match.
Although the Black Starlets twice lost their lead, they managed to clinch a crucial win with Bossman’s goal.

The team will return to Ghana on Wednesday, having successfully represented their country in the tournament.
