Comfort Yeboah, who won the Woman of the Match award in the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League in Ivory Coast against defending champions ASFAR of Morocco, 2-1, is everywhere on Social Media.
In an interview after Ampem Darkoa’s massive victory in which she scored a beautiful equaliser and forced an own goal, Yeboah decided to grant her post-match interview using a local dialect, Asante Twi.
“M’ani gye s3 y3adi nkonim”, she said, when quizzed about her excitement. “Na 3ny3 easy koraa nanso y3koo s3 y3b3di nkonim”, she explained when asked about the difficulty of the game in her opinion. On the coach’s tactics and instructions when she was asked, ” 3boaa y3n, y3kcc dressing room hc no ckaaa y3n ho kama s3 y3m3 prove wcmo wrong” she added.
She deserves the popularity she’s enjoying now because she put up a 10 over 10 performance yesterday.
