Serie A side Como have rejected a 30 million Euros bid from Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal for highly-rated Dutch-Ghanaian winger Jayden Addai, Sportsworldghana.com understands.
The offer was submitted on Tuesday, but Como’s technical director Mark-Jan Fledderus turned it down, largely due to timing issues surrounding the transfer window.
The Italian transfer market closed on Monday evening, meaning Como would have been unable to secure a replacement if the 20-year-old attacker had been sold.
Al Hilal are understood to have held direct talks with Addai over a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.
However, the Netherlands Under-21 international, who is eligible to represent Ghana, is keen to continue his development in Europe at this stage of his career.
A report by GHANAsoccernet.com indicate that Al Hilal have not given up on the player and are expected to return with a fresh bid in the summer transfer window.
For now, Addai is set to see out the remainder of the 2025/26 season with Como.
Addai joined the ambitious Italian club in July 2025 and is tied to a long-term contract that runs until June 2030, placing Como in a strong negotiating position.
Since arriving in Italy, the explosive winger has quickly made his mark, scoring three goals in 11 Serie A appearances this season and emerging as one of the club’s standout performers.
According to Transfermarkt, Addai’s current market value stands at 20 million Euros, underlining his rapid rise and growing reputation across Europe.
His progress will be closely monitored by both club and country as he continues to shine on the Italian top-flight stage.
