Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC supporters vice chairman Nana Kwame Dankwa, has told the Ghana Football Association to convince in-form Cameroonian striker Franck Mbella to play for the Black Stars.
According to him, Mbella can be of help to the senior national team should he the FA persuade him to play for the four-time African champions.
The young striker has taken the Ghana Premier League by storm and has caught the attention of the press in the central African country with some media houses reporting that Cameroon FA is monitoring him for a possible call-up.
Mbella has scored 13 goals which is more than any player in the league this season with Bright Adjei of Aduana Stars FC following him keenly with 11 goals.
He has scored hat-tricks twice and banged in braces on three occasions in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season for the Porcupine Warriors.
