Ghana FA Executive Committee member, Dr. Tony Aubynn has asked for patience and time for the current crop of players available for the Black Stars in order to win laurels.
The Black Stars despite boasting a promising squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup suffered elimination from the group stage.
Ghana lost twice and won one in Group H which housed Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay ad well.
Having watched the team play, Aubynn believes they have the potential to excel if they are given enough time.
“The materials available was what the coaches used, the FA did everything right (via motivation), we just didn’t do well. Will the Germany also apologize for their exit?” he quizzed.
“Because people tipped them(Germany) as favorite but were eliminated, they told themselves it’s a building process same as Morocco. We just need to give our players the needed time since we are building.”
The Black Stars’ attention will now turn to securing a slot for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Ivory Coast.
