Black Stars Midfielder, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has missed out on the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast next month.
The midfielder moved to the Bundesliga having been transferred to Freiburg in the summer of 2022 following an impressive stint with lower-tier side St Pauli but has been hindered by the unfortunate injury.
The midfielder after the 2022 World Cup sustained the terrible injury and has been sidelined for an extended period. Last month, it was widely speculated in the German media the player could start light training ahead of a possible comeback.
Any hope of Kofi Kyereh making it to Ivory Coast have been dashed after his name was snubbed from the 50-man squad submitted to CAF.
