Danish champions FC Copenhagen have reportedly made a move for highly-rated Ghanaian forward Daniel Job, submitting an offer worth €2.5 million plus performance-related add-ons to Norwegian side Kongsvinger IL.
According to reports from Sacha Tavolieri, Kongsvinger are holding out for a fee in the region of €4 million, with negotiations between the two clubs still ongoing.
The 19-year-old attacker is understood to be keen on the transfer, and personal terms are not expected to pose any obstacle should the clubs reach an agreement.
Daniel Job has emerged as one of the brightest young Ghanaian talents in Norway following an impressive campaign with Kongsvinger.
Last season, the Ghanaian forward was one of Kongsvinger’s standout performers, making 30 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 7 assists. His pace, movement and eye for goal played a key role in the club’s attacking success and attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.
His performances have seen his stock rise significantly, with FC Copenhagen now looking to secure his signature as they strengthen their squad for domestic and European competitions.
Should the move materialise, Job would take another major step in his career by joining one of Scandinavia’s biggest clubs, while continuing his development on a bigger stage.
