Asante Kotoko coach Abdulai Gazale has announced his starting lineup for their crucial betPawa Premier League game against their regional rivals, King Faisal, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this evening.

Despite the return of Danlad Ibrahim from international duty with the Black Meteors in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, he will start on the bench as Frederick Asare retains his position. Coach Gazale is also aiming to defend the League trophy, and he has fielded a strong starting XI to defeat King Faisal tonight.

Kotoko’s starting lineup includes Mohammed Alhassan, Maxwell Agyemang, Augustine Agyapong, Richard Boadu, Steven Mukwala, Enock Morrison, Richmond Lamptey, and others. Mohammed Sheriff, Isaac Oppong, Mfegue Georges, Mubarik Yussif, Kwadwo Appau, and others will start the game on the bench.

This Matchday 21 fixture was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 12, and will take place at a familiar ground in Kumasi, pitting the city rivals against each other.
