Ghanaian international and former Real Tamale United captain, David Abagna Sandan, has officially joined Kazakhstani top-flight club Ordabasy FC on a permanent deal, leaving Cypriot giants APOEL Nicosia.

Abagna, who has been a key figure for both club and country, is expected to bring his wealth of experience and leadership to Ordabasy FC. During his time with APOEL Nicosia, the Ghanaian midfielder impressed with his vision, creativity, and ability to control the tempo of games, earning recognition for his consistency and professionalism in European football.

The former Real Tamale United skipper is widely regarded for his work ethic, tactical intelligence, and ability to inspire teammates on and off the pitch. His move to Kazakhstan is seen as a strategic step in his career, offering him the chance to compete in a new league, gain further international exposure, and contribute to the growth of Ordabasy FC’s ambitions in domestic and continental competitions.

Abagna’s transfer also underscores the growing trend of Ghanaian footballers making a mark in less traditional football markets, proving their adaptability and value across different football cultures. Fans and football pundits alike are eagerly anticipating how the midfielder will integrate into Ordabasy’s squad and the impact he will have on their campaign.

With his leadership qualities and experience, David Abagna Sandan is expected to not only enhance the team’s midfield creativity but also mentor younger players, further strengthening Ordabasy FC’s squad depth and competitive edge. This move is set to be a defining chapter in the midfielder’s career as he looks to leave a lasting legacy in Kazakhstan football.
