West Ham United’s manager, David Moyes, has expressed his profound satisfaction with the impactful contributions of new acquisition Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghanaian international, who joined the Hammers from Ajax during the summer transfer window, has worked diligently to secure a spot in the starting eleven, emerging as a pivotal figure for the team.
In a pre-match press conference ahead of West Ham’s crucial clash against Tottenham, Moyes acknowledged Kudus’ substantial influence, citing his impressive goal-scoring and assist record.
“Mo has started great for us. He’s had an impact with his goals and assists, and I think his all-round play has been good. I have been hugely impressed by how well he’s done,” remarked David Moyes.
The manager noted that Kudus exceeded expectations by seamlessly integrating into the team, delivering key contributions both in scoring and creating goals. Moyes highlighted the player’s significant role, emphasizing the hope for his consistent performance.
“He’s probably started better than I would have anticipated. We eased him in during the first couple of games but since then we’ve found that he was scoring or making goals for us. Now he’s starting and doing much of the same, and we hope that continues”
Since his arrival at West Ham United, Mohammed Kudus has notched six goals and provided one assist. His spectacular strike against Brentford earned him the Goal of the Month accolade for November.
