David Ocloo, assistant manager of Asante Kotoko, in the post-match press meeting, shared his excitement about Kotoko’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea.
Steve Mukwala’s 41st-minute strike consigned the in-form Berekum Chelsea to their first defeat in 6 games.
When asked to send a message to the fans ahead of Sunday’s Super Clash against their eternal rivals, Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo said, ” I think they have been special to us. During all these hard times, they were still rooting for us.
” We appreciate it, we appreciate it, they should come on Sunday and support the boys, they will deliver”, added David.
“It’s a morale booster to go into the next game more motivated, but Hearts and Kotoko is a different ball game but we will do everything to get positive results,” said Ocloo when asked about the importance of the win against Berekum Chelsea ahead of the huge game against Phobia.
Accra Hearts of Oak will host Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday 10th December in Week 14 of the Ghana Premier League at 3 pm.
