After Hearts of Oak’s game against Dreams FC, the team’s assistant coach, David Ocloo, praised defenders Caleb Amankwah and Konadu Yiadom, describing them as fantastic.
The Rainbow Club were seeking back-to-back wins after defeating Accra Lions on Wednesday when they traveled to Dawu. However, the hosts denied them the opportunity to secure maximum points, and the game ended in a draw.
Caleb Amankwah and Konadu Yiadom were outstanding in defense for the team, alongside Samuel Inkoom and Dennis Korsah.
Speaking to StarTimes after the game, Coach David Ocloo said: “I previously mentioned that Caleb is a warrior, and I believe Konadu is learning a lot from him. Both of them are fantastic. They were brilliant on Wednesday and again today.”
The draw against Dreams FC on Saturday means that Hearts of Oak missed the opportunity to move above Medeama SC and Bechem United into second place on the league table. They are now in fourth place with 39 points.
In their next Premier League fixture, the Rainbow Club will return home to host Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
