Ghana’s defender Alexander Djiku has returned to Club football from international duties to join team training following Black Stars early afcon exit.
The stalwart center-back has joined his club RC Strasbourg Alsace in the French Ligue 1 after testing negative for coronavirus on his return.
Djiku played all three games at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon with Ghana but failed to progress from the group stage to the next stage of the competition.
He’s a top player for his team in France and is one of the most important players of the club as he was named as one of the club’s captain.
Djiku could play his first game next weekend in the French top-flight for Strasbourg when they host FC Nantes.
