Long-serving football administrator, Alhaji Karim Grusah has described Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Ogum Narteh as being a ‘book long’ following King Faisal’s win over their rivals in midweek.
The Insha Allah lads defeated Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium to knock them out of the cup competition.
The win also means King Faisal have recorded their second win over the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing season having beaten them earlier in the league.
Speaking to the media after Wednesday’s win, Grusah aiming a dig at Narteh said: “I told my people he [Prosper Ogum Narteh] is not a football professor. He only works with degrees and books [which don’t win you games].”
The veteran administrator also revealed that he is hopeful his side, King Faisal can be the league winners at the end of the current campaign.
“Hopefully by the grace of God, at the end of the season, we can win the league,” he added.
King Faisal are joint league leaders, sharing the spot with Kotoko and Aduana Stars, both teams they have beaten so far this season.
