Black Star’s defender Denis Odoi played an integral part in Clubb Brugge’s dismantling of Turkish side Besiktas in the Europa Conference League.
The ex- Fulham defender was part of a solid back three of Jorne Spileers and Belgian Brandon Mechele deployed by Ronny Deila at the Tupras Stadium in Instanbul.
The group D clash in the Europa Conference League ended with a brace from Brazilian Igor Thiago,and a goal each from Casper Nielsen,Onyedika Raphael and Skov Olsen.
The convincing puts Clubb Brugge on top of the group with 13 points. Denis Odoi’s side are 7th on the Belgium Pro League and play Standard Liege next weekend.
