Ghana international Dennis Appiah has joined French side Saint Etienne after leaving Ligue 1 side Nantes.
Nantes announced reaching an agreement with Saint-Etienne earlier on Tuesday, January 3.
The 30-year-old leaves Nantes on a permanent transfer having joined the club in July 2019 from Belgian side Anderlecht.
Following his debuts in the Champions League and Europa League with AS Monaco, Stade Malherbe de Caen, and RSC Anderlecht, Dennis Appiah decided to continue his career at FC Nantes in the summer of 2019.
Appiah made 106 appearances during his time with Nantes providing three assists during the period.
The player, who has played in approximately 330 professional matches across all competitions, is set to take on a new challenge in his career. He is a central defender by training and is capable of performing in this position as well as on the two corridors of the yellow and green rearguard.
Appiah plans to bring all of his experience to AS Saint-Étienne, which is currently 20th in Ligue 2, in order to help the team maintain its status at the second national level.
