The head coach of the Black Galaxies, Didi Dramani, has finalized his selection of 24 players for the second phase of the ongoing screening process.
In the first phase of training, a total of 96 players were invited, divided into four batches, and they underwent a two-week camping session.
The objective behind this exercise, as stated by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), is to establish a comprehensive database for continuous monitoring of players.
This will enable easier player exportation or prompt replacement in the Black Stars squad, especially from domestically sourced talents.
For the second phase of screening, 24 players have been chosen from the groups 1 and 2 in the initial phase. This selected group comprises 21 outfield players and 3 goalkeepers.
The chosen players have been notified to report to the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram at 5 pm on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
