Member of Parliament of Mpraeso Constituency, Davis Opoku Ansah has joined the tall list of fans who have criticised Asante Kotoko’s jersey for the 2023/2024 season.
The criticisms of Asante Kotoko’s home jersey became a subject on social media after the club wore it for their opening game in the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League against Hearts of Lions on Sunday, September 17.
The critics accused the interim management of the club of securing a deal with kits manufacturing company who has given then substandard jerseys.
The New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament took to social media to voice our his displeasure as he described it as diaspora jersey.
“Never knew we had diaspora jersey,” Davis Opoku Ansah wrote on Facebook.
Asante Kotoko on match day drew goalless with Hearts of Lions in a very controversial game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
