Asante Kotoko, has successfully secured the services of the highly-regarded defender Yussif Nurudeen Mohammed as per Mohammed Shaban.
This skilled center-back has inked a significant three-year contract with Asante Kotoko. His acquisition was finalized after he satisfactorily underwent a mandatory medical examination in Kumasi on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Nurudeen Mohammed’s transition to the former champions of the Ghana Premier League has come through a free transfer arrangement, following his departure from Real Tamale United.
His name joins the growing list of players from RTU who have embarked on new journeys during the ongoing transfer window. This roster includes Sadat Mohammed among others.
The departure of these two players contributes to a tally of nine individuals who have chosen to pursue their careers elsewhere, consequently leaving RTU.
The aforementioned list encompasses names such as Yaw Osei, Kwame Boakye, Manaf Umar, Issah Kuka, Roland Frimpong, Stephen Badu Dankwah, and Mathew Abayase.
The official unveiling of Nurudeen Mohammed as the latest addition to Asante Kotoko’s roster is anticipated to take place in the forthcoming days.
